
· Mega has a dl limit for unregistered users, free registered users and then PRO, as you can see on your own screenshot. I get that sometimes. Which is why I try to download from mega only the stuff I can't find anywhere else. When downloading a file, you will download the encrypted version, and then your computer will decrypt it using the secret key only you have access to. Mega has had as much problems with NSA as anyone else have had, being shut down and loosing nearly everything, and that is why they want to do this, to distance themselves from the data they store. EDIT: I found out the solution. You can add a new sync via MEGAsync app and select the incoming folder, which you can sync with some local folder on your PC. That's what I was looking for - but I expected it to be in my default Cloud (that's how some other clouds do it). But this is so much better!:)Missing: mega nz.
So, I had ~3GB free on my local disk and I tried to download a 2GB file. It failed because it said I ran out of disk space. My disk still shows that I have about MB free. According to this post (How exactly does MEGA's download work?), it stores the file then copies it(?) but, the path in the answer is relevant to PC and I'm on a Mac. Not even a single bit. I did it myself on a desktop with a game of 20 of 29Gb, and it still runs fine when starting back up my pc. How i did it: go to download. pause the dowload. close steam with the X. wait 5 min. shut down the pc with the provided shut down button in the start menu. Answer (1 of 8): Yes, sure. MEGA does not download files through MEGASync despite it being installed For some reason MEGA stopped downloading files through MEGASync. It used to work, and the desktop app is installed on my PC, but when I check the "Transfer with MEGA Desktop App" box and hit download, it acts as if I've never installed it and asks me to download it.
